Chowder Pot Branford
Branford police have confirmed that an active investigation is underway regarding a robbery that occurred at the Chowder Pot restaurant at approximately 8 AM Thursday. 
 
Police say two employees were confronted by two masked individuals, at least one of which was armed with a handgun.
 
One employee was forced to open a safe and money was taken. 
 
Police say the suspects fled the scene in a vehicle.

Doesn’t this type of restaurant not open until closer to noon? Even if the employees were doing prep, wouldn’t the doors be locked to outsiders? Seems odd?
