Tilted Kilt Girls

Branford may soon be home to a new Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery, according to sources.

The location would be in the previous BB Shack location on Sycamore Way.

The Tilted Kilt describes itself as having a fun, festive atmosphere and as the “go-to place to watch sports, enjoy a cold beer and hang out with friends.” The restaurant is also known for its “world famous Tilted Kilt girls”, described as “beautiful and ever so friendly.”

In Connecticut, a Tilted Kilt is located in Wethersfield. A Milford location recently closed.

They had one in Milford that closed. What makes them think that this building that has had every bar that's gone there CLOSED. LETS START A POOL. I'll take 18 months till they close, unless they serve minors

Bring it! There really isn't a good place to watch games in Branford,

Jo

An Irish Hooters. It'll help that it's close to the TA rest area off the highway--seems fitting; T&A.

They are the equivalent to Hooters as Jakes Wayback is to Five Guys. As they always said to be successful it's....location, location, location. And that spot is not very good for that type of business. It's too far out of the way any restaurant will fail once the newness wears off.

Now if it went in the old Friendly site....the place would be mobbed all the time.

Branford is just getting classier and classier. The only thing left is a strip club.

Jo

agree.

Thank you Branford Seven for keeping us abreast of this latest business venture. I find the very concept of the waitstaff wearing kilts very titilating.

Jo

Hmmm. Maybe they'll hire MEN to wear kilts as well.

And people were worried about a gun store.

You should look into the silent owner of this company. Rumor has it he racked up a whole bunch of bills in Milford while taking the cash out...then closed to avoid them.

I agree the location is not the best, but it amazes me that we welcome new breweries, put don't like a place just because of it's business model (attractive girls in kilts) and yet we say that some how this will lower the class of branford? wow folks! last time i checked, if you don't like a place don't go! but to assume branford has class...now that is a stretch!

BRING IT! I like what I see!!!!!!!

The Milford location is one that can not sustain any restaurant. It is way too big with too much competition. Whether it would work or not in Branford is anyone's guess.

Since there haven't been any complaints from the SCA, I guess this is the type of business they prefer to a Costco.
