A restructuring of the outdoor shop Denali has led to the closing of the Branford location.

This week, a truck pulled up in front of the Branford location, which sold outdoor gear, packed up the truck, and left. While there was talk of the company possibly closing some stores, it came as a surprise to the town and neighbors in the town center.

Currently the Old Saybrook location remains open. When asked if the company would be closing more or all of its stores, company representatives declined to comment.

The website, which covers the outdoor retail industry, reported in May that the company would be undergoing a restructuring. The company had previously closed its Wakefield, RI location earlier this year.

Thank You Ned and your buddy dems! Wait until the $15 an hour really hits! Just the beginning!!!

They were paying me $15 an hour in 2007. You have no idea what you are talking about and should go post this stuff under some political articles where your misery will find company.

Glad you brought that up. And where are they now with razor thin retail margins? Point well made! Thank You!

The company sucks. It’s only a matter of time before they go bankrupt.
